First Due Safety Alert Program

First Due Safety sends recurring automated SMS and MMS security alerts to authorized recipients who have expressly agreed to participate in the First Due Safety Alert Program.

Alerts may be sent from +1 (209) 299-0241.

Messages may include:

Person detection alerts
Vehicle detection alerts
Motion or other configured security events
Camera name or location
Event date and time
Security camera photographs or other security-related media

How Recipients Opt In

First Due Safety currently obtains SMS/MMS consent verbally.

There is no automatic enrollment and no website form is used to enroll recipients.

Before adding a mobile telephone number to the First Due Safety Alert Program, a First Due Safety representative or authorized administrator speaks directly with the prospective recipient and reads the following consent disclosure.

Verbal Consent Script

“First Due Safety offers recurring automated SMS and MMS security alerts. These alerts may include camera detection events, camera names or locations, event times, and security camera photographs or other security-related media.

Messages may be sent by First Due Safety from +1 (209) 299-0241 or another First Due Safety messaging number.

Message frequency varies based on security camera activity. Msg & data rates may apply.

You may reply STOP at any time to stop receiving text messages. You may reply HELP for assistance or contact First Due Safety at +1 (209) 299-0241.

Your mobile phone number, SMS/MMS opt-in information, and messaging consent will not be shared, sold, rented, or provided to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Your consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

Affirmative Consent Required

The recipient must affirmatively respond “Yes,” “I agree,” or otherwise clearly provide verbal consent before enrollment.

If the recipient does not affirmatively agree, their mobile telephone number is not enrolled in the First Due Safety Alert Program.

After verbal consent is received, an authorized administrator manually adds the recipient's mobile telephone number to the notification system.

Consent Records

First Due Safety maintains records associated with SMS/MMS enrollment. Records may include:

Recipient name
Mobile telephone number
Date consent was obtained
Consent method: Verbal
First Due Safety representative or administrator who obtained consent
Current enrollment or opt-out status

Opting Out

Recipients may withdraw their consent at any time by replying STOP to a First Due Safety text message.

After opting out, the recipient will no longer receive automated SMS/MMS security alerts unless they subsequently provide consent to enroll again.
